ToolHub is a small, independent project that builds free, fast, and privacy-friendly online tools. We started with a simple frustration: most online calculators and converters either throw walls of ads in your face, require an account, or upload your data to a server you do not control. We thought we could do better.

Make everyday calculation and conversion tools that are:

  • Private by default. Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded to a server unless the tool explicitly tells you it has to.

  • Free forever for the basics. No paywalls, no sign-ups, no "pro" tier for the things everyone needs.

  • Honest about limitations. A BMI calculator says when BMI is the wrong tool. A loan calculator discloses when fees and taxes will change the answer.

  • Accessible. Keyboard-friendly, screen-reader friendly, mobile friendly, color-contrast checked.

Our team

ToolHub is built and maintained by a small distributed team of designers and engineers. We have day jobs. We work on ToolHub because we use it ourselves and want it to exist.

The site is editorially independent. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews of any product or service. If a tool recommendation is sponsored, we label it clearly.

How we make money

ToolHub displays ads to keep the site free. We use Google AdSense. We do not sell your data, and we do not run our own ad network. Ads are clearly marked as ads and never interfere with tool functionality.

  • We write for accuracy first. Every blog post is reviewed before publishing.
